ONION TOMATO CHETNI is very tangy dish which is very tasty and easy to prepare , One of my ayi’s recipes which is simple and tasty.
Ingredients:
- Sliced Tomatos - 3
- Sliced Onions - 3
- Coriander Leaves

- Ginger - Small Piece
- Red Chillies - 4
- Mustard Seeds - 1 table spoon
- Urad Dal - 1/2 table spoon
- Salt as per taste
- Oil
Method:
- Heat Oil in a pan, roast red chillies for 1 minute and keep them aside in a different plate

- Add onions to the same pan, fry till they change color to light brown

- Add sliced tomotoes and coriander leaves and cook for 3-4 minutes. No need to cook fully.

- Now cool the mixture and grind along with red chillies and salt needed.

- Heat 1 table spoon of oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add urad dal and curry leaves. when dal turns golden brown, add the ground chetny and cook until oil separates.
- Very tasty chetny with goes well with idli, dosa, chapati, bread etc is ready
