Crispy Capsicum Bhaje is very tasty snack in the evening with tea or coffee, also can be used as side dish with rice for lunch or dinner, One of my ayi’s recipes which is simple and tasty.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Besan
1 Cup Rice flour
1 table spoon red chilli powder
Salt as per taste
2 Capsicum cut into slices
Oil to deep fry
Method:
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying the capsicums
Mix the Besan, Rice flour, Chilli powder and salt with some water and make a thick batter
Batter should be little salty in taste as the capsicum do not have salt added
Dip the slices of capsicum one by one in the batter and put it in the hot oil
Fry them until it becomes crispy and red. Serve these hot crispy capsicum bhaje for snacks or with rice.
