BATATA BHAJI


Batata Bhaji
is very tasty dish which goes very well with dosas for breakfast,  One of my ayi’s recipes which is simple and tasty.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 Kg Potatoes
  2. 2 Big Onions cut into small pieces
  3. 2 Green chillies, Curry leaves
  4. 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder



  5. Oil for seasoning
  6. Salt as per taste


Method:

  1. Cook potatoes in cooker for 7-8 whistles
  2. Peal the skin of these potatoes and mash them properly
  3. Heat 2-4 table spoon of oil in a pan, put green chillies, curry leaves, cut onions in the pan and fry until the onion turns light brown in colour
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder to this mixture
  5. Now add 1/4 cup water and when this is cooked properly add the mashed potatoes and mix it well





  6. This is ready to be served hot with dosas or chapatis or pooris
